Opening Orientation Ceremony for the 2026 Pali Studies Academic Year

On 1 May 2026 at 3:00 PM, Venerable Phra Maha Khomsan Chinvaro, Pali Scholar Level 9 (P. Th. 9), Abbot of Wat Bothong Rat Bamrung and Ecclesiastical District Chief of Ko Chan District, graciously presided over the opening orientation ceremony for the 2026 academic year of the Pali Studies Division.

The ceremony began with homage to the Triple Gem, followed by an opening address and words of encouragement to the students. Venerable Phra Maha Khomsan also officially inaugurated the academic year and presented Pali textbooks for all levels, from Pali Grades 1–2 through Pali Grade 9.

The event was held at the classroom of the Wat Bothong Rat Bamrung Buddhist Studies Center and marked the beginning of another year dedicated to the study, preservation, and propagation of Buddhist teachings and Pali scholarship.
